GREAT UMBRELLA STROLLER, May 28, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Cybex Onyx Black Stroller- Cactus (Baby Product) I was looking for an umbrella stroller with a huge canopy and a full recline, because I have a year old baby who naps a lot and hates the sun!!
I search and search and found that the g lite does not last long as the 5 Point harness
are to short, and that the maclaren quest canopy is really small and does not recline that far.. and the maclaren xt that has similar features is 70 usd more expensive anywhere I looked.
I saw a 4 year old in it, and he was really comfortable in it. Also the Patented central one-pull harness system is FANTASTIC to adjust it, is like the infant car seats.. just press the button and pull works like a charm.
It has high-quality fabrics and contrast colors.
Solid construction easy to fold, almost full recline, HUGE canopy.

I am 5'8" and can push this stroller without my feet hitting the wheels like all other cheaper umbrella strollers. I had narrowed my selection down to this stroller and a Maclaren but chose this one even though it is a little heavier due to the fact that it is sturdier and can hold more packages if some were to be hung on the handles. The stroller almost completely reclines to help with diaper changes on the fly. The awning is awesome also because it has a zipper compartment that can open up to almost completely cover my 1 year old. Speaking of the awning, when I purchased this stroller the awning was somewhat warped after being in the box but I contacted the manufacturer and they sent me a new one within 1 week no questions asked. We had the stoller/car seat combo travel system from Graco and used that a lot when our daughter was little, but as she got older we wanted a more lightweight umbrella stroller for most of our outings. So many of the ones I saw seemed so cheap and uncomfortable for her to ride in, but on the other hand a lot of the pricier ones didn't have some of the features we wanted. But this one, we love!
Pros:
HUGE canopy - this thing folds so far down it will cover your child almost to their feet. So if you find yourself in the blazing sun without much protection, baby's covered. That's my favorite part.
Very easy folding mechanism - you can both open and close it with one hand. Has a very smooth mechanism and won't pinch your hand or baby's fingers.
Nice tall handles for mom (I'm a tall mom) and dad (hubs is tall, too). I hate hunching down with the cheapie umbrella strollers... Read more
